4. CNC Master Cam Machine & Control Panel

This precision machine makes a master "cam" tooling to the OEM specifications that cuts the piston profile and taper exactly as engineered.

Like a "fingerprint", each piston is different, requiring its own master cam to match its profile (ovalness) and degree of taper from crown to skirt. The result is measured in overall performance, efficiency and extended piston life.

Since each CNC Master Cam Machine costs over 2 Million dollars and each "cam tooling" is also expensive, many other piston manufacturers cut corners here.
