6. Complete CNC Piston Manufacturing Line

This is our factory's fully automated, Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) production line processing machine. This is utilized for larger production runs. All the machining processes of the piston raw casting are done automatically, including inner diameter machining, profiling and tapering, boring and honing of the wrist pin bore, circlip grooving, relief cuts in the crown, cutting ring grooves and drilling oil holes.

This machine fully manufactures 3200 pistons per shift. Developed as a 2-year joint venture between our factory and a CNC precision machinery company, you won't find this technology in many piston factories! Smaller production runs are finished on semi-automated precision CNC machines (see next page).
